It seems you’re unaware of the time the Russians supplied weapons and even ‘advisors’ (who are reported to have actually taken part in combat) to fight in Korea on the side of the North.
Or the time the Russians did the same in Vietnam.
Was that an act of war?
The opposite direction is also not without precedent. The US sent weapons including these to the Afghan Mujahideen during the Soviet invasion there.
Just a bit older model than what is being sent now to Ukraine.
Then there’s the other fact: what exactly could Russia do to stop this from happening? Attack Poland maybe?
