Iraq 700 to 2022

 This is a combined map of old Iraq and new Iraq. That was  the time when Iraq used to be the center of modern science on the planet.

This modern city was designed on the banks of the Tigris river

   It had a total of 3 rings one of which was reserved for the  establishment.

    The 2 circles were commercial and residential areas.

   A large fort outside the third circle was designed as a protective enclosure

   It was built in 762 by Caliph Mansur Abbasi

   The best engineers of the entire  Empire were to gathered for its special construction

   Entry and exit to the site was controlled by 4 gates that connected to the main trade routes

   The inner ring was built on high ground containing the mosque and Mansur's palace.

   The Caliph's estate spread over 3km², with a large garden and a green dome visible from prominent points in the city.
